Happy New Year!

It's now 12a.m, which means a new year! We're all officially moving on to year 2009.

Like they say, New Year, New Hope and A New Start (does the saying goes this way!? xD) But nevertheless, it makes sense.

Whatever that had happened minutes ago, weeks ago, months ago have now passed and we're starting the new year over again. Remember the things worth remembering, the happy memories and forget those that make you sad, frown or cry.

New Year brings new hope, continue hoping for the best of life. Although it's indeed true that not all things can be perfect and happy memories, we as well do play a part in determining on what categoteries those events happened land on. Be open minded and try not to burst your temper often -- and this obviously refers to me haha! Not that I have a bad temper, but I'm always cats and dogs with my brother.

--My 2009 New Year Resolutions--

1.Continue to lead a life that follows the word of the Lord. This is indeed important, for without God, I'm nothing. With God, everything is possible

2.Be Hardworking in doing chores and my daily skincare routine! I shouldn't let the money I spent on those Laniege facial products go to waste. Besides, they're actually working fine on my skin

3.Try to be a nice daughter to my dad--this is what I call a real challenge, but I'm willing to try, because this all leads to Resolution number 1. I won't guarantee it'll happen immediately as it takes time. But like I said, I'm willing to TRY.

4.Increase my savings! I want to be a rich..LOL who doesn't want to?! I want to try to save as much as possible and spent on things that is of high worth of value to me.

5.Catch up reading. I haven't been reading much in 2008 cause I had to manage AS and A Level exams, so I should start picking up some good books to read to waste my time away! The thought of this is getting me excited!

6.Learn Japanese. This SHOULD be on higher ranks than six but I ranked it six cause I want to learn the language for the pure sake of learning, not out of genuine interest. Just wanna expand my knowledge. After all, learning more is beneficial to my personal self and my future career.

7. Improve my Korean language. I'm okay at it and understand more of it compared to Japanese since I'm doing self learning but more improvements are needed.

8.Learn how to do basic makeup- Okay, don't laugh. I'm a girl, 19 years old and I can't even draw eyeliner properly!

I guess that's it? Probably yeah....

--2009-- Wishlists

1. I WANT TO GO FOR A THSK LIVE TOUR!!!!!

Can't you see I'm that excited about it to the extent of using caps locks?! OKay, I really really really wanna go!

2.Apply for good universities.

Let's put it this way. I hope I can get good A level results so I have wider choices as to which universities and courses I can apply for.

3. Travel with my mum.

It's been long. These few years that I've gone travelling, it's usually with my cousins. So hopefully I can fulfill wish number one and go have a girly travel session in Japan or HK with my mummy!

4.Have more disposable "income"

I'm not working! I simply just wanna have more budget when I go out shopping. To buy BOOKS!

5.A new watch

I havent bought a watch for around four years now. I'm thinking of getting a chronograph watch from some brands like DKNY etc.... It depends on the price.

6.Learn Korean in an institituion.

Currently self learning, so I'm thinking of studying it in a institution so I can pass tests and get a certificate. If not, I hope to go to KHU, but I'm not too sure of this option.

7.Have better skin

Meery Christmas and a Happy New Year

It's been realll long since I last blogged but first off, a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everyone.

Things have been busy for the past couple of weeks, filled with excitement as well as disappointment.

I thought I wasnt gonna get to go to bsb and catch Twilight, so I was a tad mad and went shopping and ended up spulrging in Laniege. The whole line thing costs 213....yikes, I was willing to spend cause I thought I wouldnt need the money anyway since I wasnt going to bsb.

But then, in the end I did after they phoned me. No regrets though, Laniege products works like magic on my face and results were obvious.

Dang, next up- it has to be Twilight.

Okay, so honestly, the book was much better but the movie's great too. Haha, I thought Sieyi was bored by the movie but turns out that she found it interesting. Maybe she's paying loadsa attention to the movie instead of whispering haa.

Okay, third- I wanted New Moon but couldnt get it. In the end I did though. Ordered Eclipse and Breaking Dawn online, which was a x'mas gift from my mum.

Oh yeah, we went for CNY shopping and truthfully, I wasnt interested in shopping for clothes since I wanted to shop for books. I'm not weird!

So after buying some clothes for the sake of buying, I was shopping randomly and aimlessly in UG and then bam! Ying handed me a purple black blouse (can't explain it well...might as well post pics later when I'm free) and voila! I bought it cause I loved it so much. Even my mum, who HATES black, says I look good it in.


Last but not least, the biggest disappointment of all- It seems that I wont be able to watch Kouhaku at home now. Why does my dad just have to come home at this point? Can't he just stick to his schedule and come back on Jan 5th? Jeez

15th December 2007

NO.

I did not type the date wrongly. I clearly know that today is 15th December 2008 but I wanted to blog about a special day, 15th December 2007.

So what was I doing at that particular point of time and where was I?

If according to the time now, it would be 2.35, and I'll be still shopping in Robinsons, Bangkok, Thailand.

But that wasn't the point, after so many nights of dreaming and worrying, I was finally there. There on 15th December 2007.

It's DBSK's concert + Junsu's birthday.

Some may feel silly but for me, it's not. I don't get what I want always and to have this opportunity placed right in front of my eyes, how could I have forgotten what happened.

By the time the clock strikes 7 Brunei time later, I'd probably be in IYF for advanced christmas party but for 2007, Ying and I would have already arrived in Impact Arena, quieing to enter the stadium at 7 Thai hours of course.

Let me see, I met a bunch of good thai fans who directed me to AR, met a bunch of rude taiwanese and their excessive banners of Changmin. What else?! Ah, the Japanese Ahjumma....

Oh, I didnt forget about this though, I failed to buy a souvenir cause I was late.

Geez....

By 8 p.m Thai hours sharp, concert started and wowowowowowowowowow, never did I thought the dongbang boys was so good looking....

The songs were dang! so good live especially Jaejoong's and Yoochun's solo performance.

And we celebrated su's birthday!!!!

It was fun, everyone chucking cakes at his face. SO much to remember for that night.

Twilight

It has been a long long time since I last read due to A levels, so after the exam, bigail, Alice and the rest of them kept harping about this particular book called Twilight.



At first I was like, hmm, maybe it's just another book.



Then what came next? I was surfing around the forum and a couple of quotes caught my eye. Something like, Edward and Bella...... bla bla bla. I was like, Hey! This is a kpop forum and if its so popular, maybe I should start on that book.



My lil bro was heading off to bsb the next day so I gave him the money and asked him to get the book for me but to my disappointment, he came home empty handed saying the book was all sold out. SIgh



I waited and asked my friends if I could borrow, and turns out that they had promised other friends to borrow them the book. sigh again.



So two days ago, I went to bsb myself and guess what?! Best Eastern has the book and it just arrived! yay! Immediately I grabbed a copy of it, for fear of it selling out again and I would be bored to death.







So here's my copy of the book. It's good but I'm not done with it yet, still on page 230+. Usually am a fast reader and I could easily finish this book within a day but if I finished the book so fast, I wont have enough money to get the next one and I'm not goin to bsb anytime soon. So yeahhhhh

Edward cullen, he's hot and all, but I prefer someone else haha....

And some of my readers who are my friends should know who he is!

Today is the day my exams officially end, which means that hols will commence now

Today, I went to my uncle's house to visit my newborn cousin and finally my uncle and auntie thought of a name for him haha called Shen Shen( not sure of the spelling though)...He and Keen are literally lookalikes, and he's even better looking haha!

Hmm....line up for tommorow..

Although exam is like seriously over, the burden of knowing the results is immense. I hope I did well.

Emotions about.....

Miss Branded- You know who you are, I believe, quit lying and telling lies when you're the one hurting your so-called bestfriend. Get a life, instead of stalking people's blogs!

77th school anniversary-Truthfully, it was boring and the fact that me, ging and ying had to sat at the VIP seats instead of the adults made it worst, plus it was MKMF that night, how can you expect me to look at the performances the students had to offer while I was constantly checking my phone for updates on MKMF?

MKMF 2008-Okay, I don't know what to say....I was expecting Best Artist of the Year as well, although the boys won Best Album of the year which was much more memorable cause the album has only been released for around two months and yet, it has already slapped down the record sales of Korea since 2006(which was exactly when they went on Hiatus in Korea and focused on Japan).....Although Big Bang was focusing on Korean Industry for this year, the impact they made is not considered big at all, compared to TVXQ, hence I don't understand why on earth would they win Best Artists. Taking all factors into account from popularity all over the world and versatility, consistency, TVXQ definitely has outscored Big Bang

Us as fans, International and Korean fans alone have supported the album in every single way we could and to have only won one Daesang out of three is just ridiculous to me....People say that its amazing enough that they swept 5 awards altogether that night, which was spectacular but yeah well, whatever, there's still Golden Disk, which is fairer since its totally based on album sales.

I should stop ranting about the awards, they swept 5 I should be happy, besides there are much more to come, I believe they can do it because they already broke records set.

To the performances of MKMF now, yeah, I loooooove the perf! I love the Mirotic Rock Version since its accompanied by orchestra, I absolutely love violin!!!!!!!!

Hotness overload, Junsu and Jaejoong, enticing fans huh? Haha , jk

I couldnt believe it was ChangMinnie who cried first! But I guess they were all stressed out since it was tough competition for the daesang of Album Of The Year... But boy oh boy, I was yelling a bit and stopping myself just in time since I was in the school toilet while I checked on my phone(m ind you, I was having a bad stomachache)...

Anyway, Golden Disc is on the 10th od Dec so we'll see......and hopefully they'll be able to go to Kouhaku this year!

On a side note, I have three or four more days before my exams officially end. I hope I score well enough....

Ok, so today the boys were gonna be in Japan and I was hoping that Astro's NHK would be airing the show!

Yes, it did and now I can spazz like mad....
I waited for around 45 minutes, listening to not so nice songs and finally they came out! I thought I missed it!

So I'm now in a 'Choosey Lover' state, I keep replaying the song on my Itunes now since just now after the live perf.......

My cousin who lives a street away from me was having a hard time though~
My aunt kept saying stuff abt their looks, calling them ugly*rolls eyes at her*and kept praising Wu Chun.

No offense, everyone has their own opinion on looks, but to say that the boys are totally ugly is just too much...So this was what my cousin said,

"I was fuming, happy and excited at the same time and oh ~ Yoochun's hair, it's like something he had b4...cute!"

Anyway, I have to go drink my soup nowwwwwww.... havent eaten anything much for dinner....

G'day!

Today I am in a fantastic mood. The day went great.

First off, I am thankful that God was with me during the exams, constantly blessing me. I was able to finish my paper with great confidence.

Secondly, haha, people who know me should expect this. I'm spazzing over the 4 new songs in the repackaged album. Mine better arrive soon! I don't have much patience! I'm trying to refrain myself from downloading now by playing the previews over and over again.

It's been long since DC that we've heard cassies chant around creating atmosphere and here it starts again!

This is my favourite Mirotic perf of theirs so far. Vocal wise was amazing as usual, dance too, outfits and cassies chants! Wohoooooo! Love it love it love it.

So this was what I was studying for today,Economics(just in case you can't tell) and I was sooo stressed that a headache came and attacked me :( At least I am feeling better now, If not, I wouldnt be blogging right?

So I went to this really really unique restaurant for lunch(late luch to be exact), the atmosphere was relaxing cause the place had a really nice interior design, which normal restaurants don't have...The lights are pretty right? Hehe

First off, this donuts pic isn't taken today. Probably a week ago, but since today I'm posting about food, so yeah, I'll share this. My Uncle bought it for me and my bro...so pretty that I couldnt bear to stuff it down my mouth. But eventually I did, after taking snaps of the donuts haha!

Okay, so this is like the highlight of today. Ying ordered a Taiwan Wonton (whatever, couldnt remember the name) but the thing is, there were like probably 10 pieces of food inside, yet, such a big round bowl.

I've been drinking Ice Lemon Tea everywhere I go these couple of days...Yum Yum...Maybe tomorrow I'll have to try something new~

So now, something not related to food, but this totally made me smile.
